"Monsters force us to become stronger, smarter, better. They sift the weak from the strong and provide a forge for the steeling of souls. Even as we curse monsters, we admire them."
So this, and more, all happened. But before I dive into details, I want to thank starfuryconventions for this amazing weekend! I hope to one day come back and do it all over again!
Meeting these people was so surreal, especially Darren. Seeing him for the first time walking up to the meet&greet was the first time I actually realized this was happening. I wasn’t in the M&G though, so I still had to wait ^^.
As for his photo, he was all happy and cheery when I walked up and he already had his arms out for me. I asked him for “a big bear hug” to which he gave his most blinding grin before he pulled me in, hard. I mean, my glasses are crooked. It was well worth it. My second photo went a lot less smoothly, as they were already pushing me along. I just took my time, and Darren was very patient. I actually almost fell over during the pose and he just chuckled and held me upright. When I walked off he held my hand while saying “Thanks, babe” as a response for my own thank you. The little bastard ^^.
Moses and I hugged for well over a minute because the camera acted up, making his hug the best hug of the weekend. Joey, nearly crashed my spine. I guess his interpretation of a bear hug is bruising someone else’s bones, hahaha. The puppy eyes was a last minute decisionand he was more than happy to comply!
The group photo is a completely different story. I stil don’t know what really happened. All I know is that when I walked off Joey gave me an apologetic look and mouthed “thank you”.
All in all it was a great weekend, and I haven’t even mentioned the other guys yet!, and my highlight was Darren’s concert. The highlight of that? Going Back to Hogwarts with all of the StarKids!
I apologize for the way too long message
My final photo with @DarrenCriss along with @dee_tells ! Who got the better end of this pic? Where’s my other hand?!?! #G4 #DarrenCriss #Starfury
